FAIR AND REASONABLE 

Appraisal Resolution was founded to assist insurance companies and policyholders when a dispute occur on a property insurance claim.

Our President, Russ Lis, has been in the construction industry since 2005. He began his career as a project manager for the largest homebuilder in the United States where he assisted in building more than two hundred single family homes, townhomes and condominiums.

After the economy in the mid to late 2000’s went into a deep recession he joined the largest homeowner’s association property management company in the Twin Cities where he performed many duties; property manager, national consultant to banks and financial institutions, vice president, and was in charge of all business development. While he enjoyed working with Board members and homeowners in a property management capacity he wanted to get back to his main area of expertise which was building.

Russ enjoys working in the appraisal industry and is proud to be known as someone who is honest and ethical.  He serves as an appraiser for both policyholders and insurance companies and as an umpire when appraisers are not able to come to an agreement over the amount of loss. He strongly feels that every dispute is unique and must be studied carefully so that all parties are treated fairly, reasonably, and with the utmost respect.

He also is the President of a construction company in the Twin Cities, Minnesota which focuses its scope of services to roofing, siding, windows, gutters and storm damage restoration.

He holds several licenses and certifications in both the appraisal, construction, and restoration industry. Continual learning and improvement is important to him as he loves to dig deep down the “rabbit hole”!
